Tracy Thompson, a billings resident, is proud to announce the launch of her new business, Tracy Moore Photography. She love kids, and loves photography, so she brought two of her biggest passions together to create this fun and exciting business. She is an on-location, natural light photographer that specializes in Maternity, Newborns, and Children. She also does engagements, senior pictures, and families as well. Being on-location means that she will come to the client’s house, or a place of the client’s choosing, such as a park, where the children feel most comfortable.
She believes in giving back, and currently is a part of 3 great causes. She donates a portion of all her proceeds to the high school ministry at Harvest church, where she and her husband are leaders. She also is a volunteer photographer for “NILMDTS” (Now I Lay me Down to Sleep) which is a non-profit organization that helps families that might not be able to take their brand new baby out of the hospital. Photographs of these little ones will be all they have left of them, and this helps greatly with the grieving process and the memory of their beautiful child.
Another thing Tracy does to help out the community is every month, she chooses a family that has been nominated to do a free photo session with and gives them prints at no charge. Kristina Powell is originally from Billings. She is a graduate of Sky View High School and MSU Bozeman. She has returned home after traveling the world. Her time away included a tour as a linguist in the U. S. Navy. A lover of the ancient world she has studied Latin, Ancient Greek and Hebrew, among other languages. In her spare time she likes to travel locally with her husband, David.
